Gatehouse Cottage based on Frinton on Sea.
These can be found all across East Anglia and on both the GER and M&GNR. They were a very versatile design and were used not only as Gatehouses, but as Station Buildings and Station Masters residence.
Many can still be found today converted to private homes long after the railway was removed.
