Fiddle yard cassettes system.
Swap locomotives from one end of your consist to the other easily and quickly with these cassettes. Matches propriety track thats been laid on a 3mm underlay.
Usable length between the gates.
Small 265mm, Medium 550mm, Large 850mm and Super 1130mm
Custom lengths available on request.
Also available a docker for railing stock from the cassette direct to track.
Note: Requires C&L or Peco Bullhead rail to complete.

I bought 10 of these cassettes in different sizes. The package contained the cassette bases, sides, end stops and track adaptors as well as ample chairs. The rails are not provided.
The fit of most of the parts is impressive but I did find that some of the tenons needed a little filing and sanding to ease the fit into the mortices. Similarly, some of the laser-cut ply chairs were a little fat for their mortices so needed a couple of wipes on fine sandpaper.
Powering the rails required a bit of head-scratching but I came up with a solution which I’m happy with. It is shown and described in the ‘Articles’ section of the ScaleSeven website.
