Designed during the transition to diesel traction, these sheds were built to be simple, functional and efficient—perfect for fuelling, inspection and light servicing.
🚂 Prototype Accuracy
The original LMR design featured a 94ft 4in long by 40ft 3in wide two-road shed, capable of handling a wide range of diesel locomotives.
Key characteristics faithfully captured in this kit:
Twin-track drive-through or dead-end configuration
Distinctive roof light prisms (no side windows)
Industrial steel-clad appearance
Compact footprint ideal for smaller depots
