This is a kit that makes up one 7½ft diameter timber cable drum with stand for model Railway Layouts.These are seen on many maintenance trains where new cables are laid. Also in the kit is a carrier which will hold one 7½ft drum. This is often seen mounted on a truck within a maintenance train.Extra carriers can be purchased if required – see product KS5103-7.As seen in British Railway Modeling Magazine, July 2016 issue.This is sold in kit form and unpainted.What tools and glue are needed?A sharp craft knife, Wet & Dry fine (200/400) sandpaper, Needle files, Modelling tweezers and Elastic bands or suitable clamps.
